desktop with keyboard, colorful paper, flowers, pens and a nail polish bottle

If you need some website guidance, grab a power Hour with Nicole to get crystal clear on where you are with your website’s SEO, and clear actionable steps to help you get to where you need to be. I also offer a landing page copy session, and well as a 12-month content plan that we will build out together. I recommend that all my clients start with the full website audit to make sure that the essential foundations are in place.

Join Me At Live Videopalooza!

I used to think my (unusual business type) was weird, and that made me shy about meeting other entrepreneurs. But then I participated in Rachael Spiewak’s Live Video Festival Live Videopalooza and I found my tribe!

At her last festival, there were pole dancers, musicians, a children’s book author who rapped about dinosaurs… She’s running her festival again at the end of August, and I can’t wait to show off my “weird” business and make new friends. Want to join us? Click the button below to register.

See you there!

Website Hosting

Lyrical Host is hands down the best web hosting service out there- period. Their pricing is fair and straightforward and includes more resources than you will know what to do with. It’s run by developers, so you don’t have to be one to have an awesome website! And did I mention that they have THE BEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER!?

Using this affiliate link will save you 10% off your first payment.

SEO Course

Brought to you by Lyrical Host, this course is INCREDIBLE! You don’t have to know anything about websites to start and understand exactly what you need to do to make sure that your website stands out in search engines, and make sure that everything you do is generating organic traffic!

Create Your Own Graphics

Canva is a great resource for creating graphics for your website and social media. Even with no experience, you can use one of their thousands of templates to create all kinds of graphics. There is a free version, although the paid version is only $12.99 a month. This was my first Pro membership when I started my business (after hosting, of course)

Start Your Podcast (for free!)

If you have been thinking of starting a podcast, Buzzsprout lets you get started totally free! You don’t even really need a microphone, you can record yourself on Zoom or even your phone to start. The first few episodes are about finding your voice anyway, so go for it!

Best Email Newsletter

I tried several other email newsletter providers before finding Mailerlite. It’s so much easier to use than the other ones I found, and allows for more flexibility with scaling since you can increase your plan as needed, not all at once like the other guys.

Dropship Your Custom Designs

Dropshipping is a great way to sell your designs without having to worry about stocking inventory or dealing with shipping. Each product is printed when it is ordered and then shipped out directly from the printer. Take a look at each supplier to see which one has items that you would like to sell. You can create your own designs, hire someone to create designs for you, or purchase designs to upload.

Please note that I don’t recommend this method for stocking up on inventory as the shipping will be charged by item, so it can get expensive. I also don’t recommend that you sell the stickers as it can be more cost effective to order these in bulk and ship them yourself.

Keep your Business Organized

I use Airtable to organize important business details that I need quick access to, like my affiliate links, podcast guest schedule, and content plans. It’s like super spreadsheets, because there’s so much you can do! You can change the views, and you can customize each column so it’s easy to add all kinds of info, like pictures and links. They also have an app which makes it really easy to access my info even if I’m not near my computer.
